i guess flower, sun, and rain was me all along, wasn't it? i'm unlucky! i'm a 19 year old filipino living in california trying to get into video game development. i go by he/they! i have too many hobbies to be able to name here, but to narrow it down, i like to:

• play piano

• build gunpla

the HTML, CSS, and JS are sorta held together with hopes and dreams -- i'm not really much of a markup language guy unfortunately, but i still want to try making a nice little corner on the internet to talk about art i like and post about art i make!

hello, i am edo macalister★ manager of flower, sun, and rain hotel★ i've been assigned by unlucky, the webmaster, to run it while he's away★

the theme of this website is based on one of my favorite video games of all time, "flower, sun, and rain," directed by suda51 and developed by grasshopper manufacture. without spoiling too much, it's essentially about a "searcher" named sumio mondo, who makes a living looking for missing things. he's later hired by edo macalister, the manager of "flower, sun, and rain" hotel to look for and defuse a bomb hidden on the island, but gets continuously sidetracked helping other fellow islanders and hotel residents that the bomb goes off before he could start looking for it. by then, time loops back to the beginning, and he relives the same day until the next explosion.

i absolutely adore the tropical sci-fi noir aesthetic of the game, and really wanted to make a website based around the hotel setting of it. i hope that it lives up to it at least, and that enjoy your stay!
