3/15/26 the lospass express vol. 1, issue no. 1 -- welcome to the monthly express!

welcome to the first issue of the lospass monthly express! basically, it's a blog that i'll be using to post whatever's happening in my life, whether that'd be new stuff i bought, gamedev work, irl stuff, new website updates, etc!

by the way, now that we're on the topic of new website updates...

yeahh, it's been a while. i've had a lot friends asking me "when are you gonna update your site?!" and all i could do was go "haha, yeah, yeah, it's coming soon!"

well. it's been almost a half a year. oops!

i've been meaning to work on this stuff for a long time. and most of the time spent that i could've used to work on this was mainly me failing to muster the motivation to work on this again. making websites are a lot of work, after all! keep in mind that markup languages are very, very far from my expertise, and i essentially had to self-teach myself pretty much everything, specifically html and css, to get this site running. i mostly relied on intuition and a lot of documentation online to scramble stuff together. that being said, if you look at any of the source code of this site with inspect element or whatever, you'll see my glorious html and css in action, being that i choose the most inefficient and obtuse ways possible to get stuff to look somewhat decent. well, if it works, it works.

i want to continue making stuff for this website since there are a lot of missing pages that i seriously need to complete. i'm hoping to get to the 'about' page at least before the end of this college semester, and, judging by how progress is going, i'm feeling optimistic!

now that that's out of the way, i hope everyone appreciates the new stuff i added at least. changelog includes:

• the lospass monthly express blog
• new stuff in medialog that i forgot to put!
• badges that show which media i'm currently reading/watching/playing, as well as which ones have reviews

i'm making a game boy game! it's a project i'm doing for the game design class i have this semester. we're using game boy studio and we basically have to make all the assets ourselves, from the music, spritework, tilesets, programming, etc. it's gonna be a lot of work, but i have a clear vision for it in mind that i'm feeling excited for. take a look at the stuff i've done for it so far! none of the stuff above is final for the most part, especially since the tilesets still need a lot of work... but, like this website, i'm feeling optimistic for the future.

also, i got some new manga, and i cleaned my room! life is pretty good right now.

thank you so much to everyone who has continuously supported me in making this website and being so patient for this update. i promise to continue to work hard on this site and make it a nice little space for people to relax in. after all, this is the finest resort on earth where you can forget about time ★
